Vacancy Announcement: Admin and Human Resource Officer
Part-time Job in Chiangmai, Thailand (Deadline extend to November 10, 2024)

Kachin News Group (KNG) is a local media organization dedicated to delivering timely, reliable news to the people of Kachin State, Northern Shan State, and Upper Sagaing Region. We focus on important issues such as human rights, public awareness, and socio-economic development. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Admin and HR Officer to join our team and support our day-to-day operations. This dual position will encompass both administrative support and human resources functions, providing productivity and a critical link between our staff and management.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Duties:
- Manage office operations, including scheduling meetings and events, maintaining office supplies, and overseeing facility management.
- Ensure the smooth running of office operations and controlling the office assets to ensure compliance with KNG policies and regulations.
- Assist with financial procurement tasks, including budgeting, purchasing, invoicing and expense tracking.
- Support the program and newsroom team with logistical arrangements for events and projects as well as support staff travel arrangements.
Human Resources Duties:
- Coordinate recruitment processes, including job postings, applicant screening, and interview scheduling.
- Maintain employee records and manage setting up processes for new hires.
- Assist in implementing HR policies, programs, and practices that support employee payroll and leave engagement and development.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum qualification is a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. (Master degree holder in those areas is preferable)
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in an administrative or HR role, preferably within a media or creative environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and any HR management software.
